Youth Summer Camps

FBYC Sailing School was established to provide quality education for youths 5-18 in sailing and foster a passion for the sport, through CanSail certified programs, coaches, and support.  Whether it’s casual fun in Adventure Camp, learning to sail through CanSail 1-4, or refining racing skills for your next Olympian( we have 3 ), we have programs for everyone.

Adult and Family Programs

Something for Everyone!

Sailing on a 25' keelboat, you’ll learn essential sailing skills like navigation, right-of-way rules, and nautical terminology, as well rigging, launching, docking, and so much more!

Following the Sail Canada standards for adult training, we offer two courses that will take you from beginner to sailor in short order꞉

 

Start Keelboat Sailing is the perfect entry point for your sailing adventures

Basic Learn to Cruise teaches you how to cruise safely in familiar waters as both skipper and crew in a 24’ keelboat

Family Sail or Date Night on a RS Quest dinghy teaches you the fundamentals of sailing a dinghy under the CanSail 1 certification

 

Or find a new passion as a family at FBYC. Become a social member!  We offer limited quantities of complimentary social memberships with every CanSail certified course purchase.
